ok first of all this i dont kno. and i love the comment saying its unexlainable. im not saying it isnt real. and im not saying it isnt true. but anyone can be doing that it could be a turist attraction. it could be this huge flashing light. with the things we have today it could be anything you shouldnt believe everything you see.
sorry if i hurt anyone. but its my opinion. goodbye
I was there a couple of years ago and thought it was silly until I watched it through my own camcorder. It looked like a planet with the top scraped off. It bounced around like a molecule of its own energy source. And I'm an electrical engineer so I was scientifically skeptical before I saw it on my own. It should be one of the wonders of the world!
It is a tourist attraction but it is not one generated by a marketing firm. It is a tourist attraction much like old faithful. It was there and the tourists came. There is simply not any sign of revenue generation going on from it that would support the expense of powering a moving light 24 hours a day. I know some determined pranksters but nobody is going to hoax 24/7/365 either. Sometimes the most likely answer is the right one and that is it is some weird natural occurrence. Why the town doesn't try to capitalize on the light I will never know.
