It is real.. It is not from car lights. How can people be so dumb to think its car lights when it changes so many different colors. I've seen it turn blue before and I have walked back there during the day and you cannot see the highway from there. too many trees to be able to see the highway. I've even saw it shoot straight up into the air when it was red. Can a car shoot straight up into the air? I DONT THINK SO!

Its not car lights you ignoramous. its an unexplained phenomenon. maybe you were viewing the vehicles on rt 45 but you sure werent on the dead end hilltop of robbins pond rd. ive seen the light a 100 times and i can assure you it is not from cars. i had someone tell me once while viewing it that it was someone in the distance with a flashlight, dah! maybe u 2 can hook up...

I have been there also.and will be going again in a few days to show my son and my sister. All I know is I had the weirdest feeling while viewing the lights. And for them saying it is car lights...how dumb...

It has been proven that it is lights from vehicles there is a big hill with a road in the distance... The funny thing is that when you left some other idiot was watching you drive down the street saying "WHOA!!!!! look at the ghost lights" Shine a light through some mist and you gat a rainbow, headlights through moisture in the air, WOW diferent colors that you see, AMAZING....

::)i did not see the light but family has where it has come very close. i was told by some one and will not say this persons name. that when there are lots of people you may not see it. about the woods, if you are talking about the woods to the left there is for sure an energy their. i say more dimensional if you are an insightful person. i did take a couple of photos during the day and i have orbs in the pictures. If you are sensitive to energy like i am you feel things that others are not open enough to. oh and yes lots of people do see car lights. that was my experience. but i also know there is something there. you feel it. there are lots that we can't explain but it doesn't mean it does not exist. for my friend that is there quite often and has had numerous sightings out there at wee hours in the morning has seen many things that are not the light. you have took at magnetic energy. the U.P . has lots of minerals and when you study these type of places around the world there is lots of unexplained energy that is measured in these places by scientists. call the portals if you like. i am definitely going to go again and i hope my unidentified friend is there again. because this time i am not taking my kids so i can sit and study till wee hours in the morning[

The light is real, I am from the area and have done alot of partyn there. There is another access rd to get closer and Some nights you can hear the sound of a train coming. Hum, there use to be railroad tracks right there. It is not cars lights. It will be one light and then split into 2 and sometimes three. If a car drives up robin pond rd with its lights on it goes away. IT turns red when it is pissed and will start shooting around side to side up and down. Great times have been had there, get a clue city slickers.

This is true! My father in his mid-sixties grew up in Land O'Lakes, WI and he has seen it when they were up there playing in that area of the woods. He said he was about the age of 9 or 10 when he first saw the light and his friends and him tried chasing it. Being the young kids they were. So that was almost 50 years ago. I also have a friend who went up there as a sceptic and now a believer when it was almost on the hood of the car. So if you are a sceptic then take a ride to a beautiful place in the northwoods and make your own opinion!

There is video posted. I thought it was on this site; if not simply google the paulding light and you will find some. I believe it was on you tube but I don't remember. It was good, and pretty accurate by my accounting.
