I like skeptics....You have to go there with me and we will watch the light together. You will pee in your pants. That video was cool - but it's nothing compared to what the light can really do. Wait until it chases you while you are peeling your wheels to get out of there!!!! It's really cool!! No headlights of any car or truck could do that. No really - you should come and "play" with the light with someone who is a veteran....THEN DECIDE!!!

This is the best footage that I have ever seen of a road in the distance with cars traveling on it. Very good documentation of vehicles on a road. Its amazing that you would assume that headlights and brake lights from cars or trucks could be ghostly lights.... Thanks for wasting your time and mine by recording this video.

I went to the paulding light last week, and I watched the online video made through the telescope where you can see the cars on the road, but what I saw could not have been cars, it was the wrong color and rose above the horizon. (unless someone has a flying car out there, it could not have been a car.) Up until I actually saw it I thought it was cars, but now I would like to know what really causes it.

I have been there and there is no way it is a light show or anything. I read some posts on people saying they tried to chase it. When i went there 2 years ago it was my family and i, another group of people, and some people in a black car that never got out. My family and I watched the light and I was sceptical at first. Then I saw the red lattern and it looked like it got smashed. Then I heard a train whistle and the train light. The light got progressively brighter as it came towards us. Then I saw a black shadow of what looked like a running man running away from the train. After that the light got kind of dim. The group that was by us decided to take a walk and look for some kind of light projector or something. They were gone for like 10 mins and we heard a bunch of screaming and saw the red lantern coming towards us again. The people in the black car literally put the pedal to the metal and spun around and raced out of there. When the group that went looking for the light finally came back they were scared and wouldnt tell us anything. they just left. It was around 3am and we thought we would hit the road. When we all got in the van we sat and talked about what we had seen for a few seconds. Then my dad pointed out that in the bushes right in front of the van the red light was shining. It moved a little bit and dimmed and finally disapeered.
