Wow dude you are really dense. You really need to let go of your lack of confidence by feeling that you have to prove to people you are right when all it does is make you look ignorant. Read my lips. You can see car lights. The light is not car lights. You saw car lights then that is what you saw, T H A T I S N O T T H E P A U L D I N G L I G H T!!!!!!!!!!. YOU DID NOT SEE THE REAL LIGHT, omg i should not have to say this again. Were you dropped on your head as a child or something,? Let me make this easy for you to understand. The opening on the hill which is quite far away is very large. It is the same size as the opening by the viewing area. When the Paulding Light shows itself at times it is bigger than that area between the trees. I dont care what kind of light you have either on the road behind or on top of the hill. It would have to be enormous in size because light gets smaller as you move away from the source. Is this what you saw when you were there? hell no or you would not be talking about car lights anymore, go back and see it and until you do i am done with you. Oh and when i saw it there were no others at the viewing area. It was 11pm and i sat and watched the car lights for half an hour before I saw the real light. Do you really think someone was sitting out there waiting for someone to come and then sat there another half hour, brought out some energy hogging gigantic light just to fool 3 people who live 5 hours away. Here is one of the posts on this board that should make you think twice. Hopefully what i have said and what you read will make you think twice about going back again. I just realized that it was a post by openminded who i think has posted on this thread. Thanks for the post om. Here it is I do have a personal experience to share on the light. My family (wife, daughter, and myself) were camping in the area and picked up one of the souvenir maps of the area. Not much to do around there so the "mystery light" location on the map was intriguing enough to warrant a drive. I had never heard of the light before and had no idea what to expect as there was no information on our literature. We found the sign marking the area and were all alone. We parked and waited all alone sitting in the car. About the time we were thinking of leaving we saw a small white light and then a red light off to the side. They seemed to move around but it seriously looked like headlights and taillights cresting a hill as many have said on here. I was feeling like I was conned and trying to figure out what angle the locals had for calling this a mystery when it was car lights. Didn’t seem like a good way to make money or anything as I would never bother visiting this lame thing again and definitely would not recommend it to friends. Well that all changed shortly when the white light started to intensify and grow. No car on this planet could make a light that big and bright even if it was rigged and aiming at an optimal angle to us. Well that was just the start as the red and blue lights started to dance around in patterns that could not be confused with anything to do with a car. I am familiar with Auto kinesis and it does not come into play here because there are reference points on either side created by the tree lines. It was all very cool until the light suddenly seemed to explode towards us. The only way I can describe it is if you took every camera in the world and took a flash photo at the same time. Everything around us (trees, grass, inside and outside of the car as well as our bodies) was lit up so brilliantly white in a split second. The light just grew instantly large enough that it was all we could see in our entire field of vision and it seemed to pass right through us (i know that sounds weird). I know that a light getting brighter will seem like it is moving toward you but this seemed different than that. It actually seemed to be charging at us. It seemed to flash right through our car and bodies and give us a strange feeling. I have never seen anything close to before. After the flash it was completely gone. Well my daughter was frantic and scared as hell begging to get away (she was 15 at the time) so I had no choice but to leave at that point. My wife acted like nothing happened to her at all which I thought was strange. Come to find out when I tried to get them to go back with me the next night that she admitted what she saw and was terrified to go back. My wife is an Attorney and has never been afraid of anything but there was no way they would go back with me the next night. Here is what i find so strange about it. This light was way brighter than glancing at the sun and yet we had no problems with our eyes after. I would have expected to have blurred vision or spots left behind but there was nothing. Don't ask me why but this happened 3 years ago and i have not been back but I think about it way too often. It affected me that much. All i can say is if this is something man made it is one hell of a project. Maybe there is a relative of Tesla that lives up there, lol. Anyway, I have absolutely nothing to gain by sharing this so hopefully some of you skeptics will take note. You do have to see it to believe it but if you think you are seeing car lights then you haven’t seen the Paulding light yet. |

TAPS in general is a joke, have you ever seen the equiptment of an actual professional team?? Also you all seem to have trouble explaining why you must be in a absolute static postion to view the lights and that the rare instance a car turns on its brights seems to create a different effect than the "normal headlights"...yeah people dont normally turn on their brights so big surprise most of the time people just see a dull light and on rare occasions throughout the night someone flips on their brights and whala! The enigmatic paulding light!!!
