Let me start off by saying that I don't think it's car lights, and I do believe the light is real and quite mysterious. However, I don't think it has anything to do with ghosts or aliens. I have heard people talk about "dark spots" being down by the creek. One person said they were on one side of the creek and somebody else was on the other side with a flashlight, yet they couldn't see the other person or the light from the flashlight! Now tell me that's not wierd...
I think the answer is scientific, just an aspect of science we may not fully understand yet. Please respond with any info or ideas you may have.

i i know for a fact its car lights i was talking to my friend who was sitting in his truck watching it one night and i went a couple miles north up the road and turned around and he said the light was white then i shut my lights off and he said it was gone and when i turned them on he said it was back plus why does like light come every so often and not last less then a minute each time? and for all the stories most ppl go out there drunk or high so they dont really know whats going on

Fox, I know a little about the subject ... however, not enough to really have a discussion that would do it justice. So I'll just ask you.. What are you suggesting is happening on Robbins Pond Road?

Yes I believe you that you saw car lights. I saw car lights too but that is not the light that most people are talking about. Try again, go on a weeknight when nobody is there, be quiet. When you see the light you will no longer question the car light theory.
