I was just up there to see the light this weekend and even walked past the creek and to the fork in the trail. couldnt see any cabin there though. a friend of mine who is a scientist believes that the fork in the road is the possible place where the light originates. Which makes scence because if the legend about the man swinging the latern to signal the tracks to change is true.. then that is the place where he would stand. right there where the forks meet. the weirdest part is that while we were up there, we couldnt see the light anymore. but when we went back to the baracade, we asked a few people if they could still see it while we were gone and they said yes. so we had to have been right under it! FREAKY

Amber, I had the same experience when I walked down there. When I got back, all my friends that stayed by the guard rail said the light appeared to be closer than the creek, yet my friends and I who were walking didn't see anything. Wierd huh?
