Not everybody goes out there prepared with a high quality video camera. Who knows, the light may not show its most unique in those situations, intentionally. Whether you believe it or not, I'm probably one of the most cynical and skeptical bastards who's ever come out of the UP and from what I've seen, I have no doubts that the light is not headlights, reflections, etc. Headlights several miles away don't consistently shut off for minutes at a time when you flash yours (only to reappear in a different location far too different at that distance to have been someone simply driving in pitch black), only to reappear and bob up and down a hill, the apex of which would prevent you from seeing the lights of a car driving up and down hills unless you were sitting in a very tall tree or suspended in the air. How do you explain that it's headlights when when you can perch in the woods up over the hill where it appears during the failing light, and it floats right past you after nightfall, only to disappear when you try to approach it?
The most skeptical people on this and similar subjects that I've ever witnessed are always those with the most intense belief in a man sitting on a cloud in a white robe, and who have the least education. I assure you that I'm a firm believer in God, whatever form "he" may take. However, those who preclude any supernatural existance in "his" name are, well, just idiots.
