I have personally witnessed this event, you might say big deal, who wasn't. Well the difference with me and my father, is that we got lost, and we came up on the other side of the revine. We didn't see it when we pulled up, but the people on the otherside said that it was there until we got there. So, we crossed the creek and sat up on the otherside. Sure enough, there it was, it got right next to our truck, so we decided to go back to our truck. Well, after we started to go back down the revine, it dissapeared. So, we got in our truck and turned around and started to leave. That is when we saw it again in the mirrors, so we stoped and got out. Then the light got bright red, and started to come towards us, it was swinging back and forth, you could cleary see it. That is when we decided to leave. So yeah, for that retard who said it is just car lights, obviously doesn't know what he is talking about.

I'm one of those "retards" who say the Paulding Light is just car lights. Thanks for the entertaining story - are you going to go back to the same spot with a video camera and get some footage of what you claim to have observed? That would really make me look stupid and prove once and for all that the Pauldling Light is real. I can't wait to see it!!!

It's definitely not car headlights. A friend and I drove down the only highway that it could possibly be and we saw not one car on the highway... Not one. And that night the light was out. Is there some sort of hidden highway that cars travel on? And also, do they travel backwards down this hidden highway? The car headlights thoery can suck my left nut.

Are you able to be in two places at the same time? Let me remind you that while you were on the highway not seeing any cars, you weren't back at the observation point seeing any lights. And while you were seeing a light at the observation point, you weren't on the highway looking for cars, were you? I don't know of any hidden highway for cars to travel on, Highway 45 seems to work just fine. If you read my post from 9/12/2003 I mention the lady who spends a lot of time at the Light. She claims that she once drove south on Highway 45 flashing her brights and people at the observation point saw and confirmed it. So I don't think the car lights theory is going to be sucking either of your nuts anytime soon. And like I told the guy named Eric who started this topic, bring a video camera next time and document all your paranormal experiences and maybe those of us who are interested in things like evidence and proof may actually starting paying attention to you. The real light is not car lights but it doesnt show up all the time. I was just there, last night and it didnt show up. A lot of people were there and thought they saw it but it was just car lights. The light itself is very different than the lights from 45 its obvious to anyone who sees it. Thats why a lot of people think it is just car lights because they go there see the car lights and think thats all there is.

"Bloop" is exactly right. If the light didn't do anything wierd when you saw it, then what you were looking at were headlights. The real light does all kinds of wierd stuff. Anyone who sees it will be a believer.

well ill just tell u my experience, i went there last night and i seen it start at 12 when we walked down and stood right in front of the creek and to be honest, yeah maybe u could see carlights also but we could see the light lookin north and the light was right ontop of that hill that your looking at and if it was carlights u wouldnt be able to see the car lights unless u were on top of the hill at the viewpoint so thats how i know its not car lights and we could see it standing by the creek, plus when we saw it it got closer to us and came down the hill and then when we screamed at it , it got closer and then faded and dissapeared. but thats what i seen and all my friends seen soo..i mean the same thing dosent happen for everyone im just tellin everyone my experience and i also read someone elses saying that "how come its not there for more that a minute" and last night we prolly sat there for a good 5 min a point watching it so unless someone came and pulled right on top of that hill with a broken headlight well then whatever but i believe its real...thats just me tho..

if you are on old hwy 45 you are seeing car lights and you are in the wrong place, you need to go south a little to ROBBINS POND ROAD then you will be in the right place and view the real paulding light, i think some people have been going to the wrong place for years and thats why you get so many descriptions of it being just car lights, i can't get up there for a while but someone needs to drive over to old hwy 45 and tell those people that they are in the wrong place
