Hi. I haven't been to this board in a while and I'm sad to see some people are confused about whether or not they are looking for the light at the right location!

It's easy to figure out if you're in the right place... there will be a huge wooden sign there with PAULDING LIGHT written at the top, then a description of the light and it's legend, and a cute little Casper ghost at the bottom. Depending on the time of day and the time of year, you will probably also see a bunch of other people there too!

omg really? I could have sworn it was there last summer. that sucks!

i was up there last summer and the sign was down.

The sign thing seems to be another unusual happening there. I have seen posts from the same day of people saying it was down and others saying it was up. Not sure what the deal is but I am thinking it is usually a mistaken location for those who think the sign is down. Maybe people should start taking a pic of it each time with a date stamp on camera and then can post it when someone says it was down.

I know how to get to the Paulding Light. You take a left off of highway 45 onto Robbins Pond Road. The sign has not been up in the last two years.

I was there last weekend (March 22, 2008) and the sign is down.

Thanks for the response. I knew the sign was down last year around labor day. Why did they take it down?
