We plan on going up to see the Paulding light this coming summer. Can anyone tell me if there is a best time or hour for viewing and how often the light shows itself. It is a 4/12 hour drive from Chippewa Falls, Wi. and we would like to narrow down our best chances for viewing. My son checked it out 3 years ago and said it wes one of the coolest things he ever saw!!!!
Oh it is worth it 100% if you get to see the real thing. A bit of advice for anyone going. First of all, you are probably going to see something that looks like headlights and tail lights from a distance. These maybe are car lights, maybe something else but thats what they look like. THAT IS NOT THE LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so wait and hopefully you will see the real thing. Also, there seems to be something to the theory that the light does not come out as often when it is not quiet at the viewing area. I would suggest going on a weeknight if possible. When i went it was on a Tuesday and it was about 11PM. Saw it within 20 mins or so. Will never forget it. So all you out there who think it is car lights I have one thing to say. You just didnt see the real thing!
